Faith 'n Fiction Saturday

My Friend Amy, who brought us Book Blogger Appreciation Week has a new carnival in the works, the Faith 'n Fiction Saturday.

Each week she will post a blogging prompt, which participating bloggers will answer on their own blogs. Then they head back to the original post and sign Mister Linky! This way we can all come to know each other more closely

Today's Question:
I often read blogs and reviews where people mention that they think of Christian fiction as being good clean reads. A lot of people turn to Christian fiction to avoid foul language, explicit sex, or violence whether or not they are Christians. Blog reviews are the best place to find out which category a book falls into (strongly spiritual or just a good clean read) and because I read a great deal of general market fiction I try to include that information about those books as well. So...do you have any recommendations of general market fiction books for people looking for books in the good clean reads category?

Today's answer is short and sweet. Well normally the non Christian fiction I read is only chick lit and YA. That being said there are some books I can recommend that are rather clean that I have enjoyed. You can click on the links for my reviews.

Chick lit - Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs, A Job to Kill For by Janice Kaplan

YA - The Teashop Girls by Laura Schaefer, Much Ado About Anne by Heather Vogel Sawyer, Secrets of My Hollywood Life On Location by Jen Calonita

Interesting topic today. Yours are not my personal favorite genres in secular books, but I do appreciate your recommendations. Got mine up at Free Spirit-

  2. Thanks for those YA suggestions. My girls are always looking for something to read and I don't always have books on hand that they haven't read already! I'll pass on your suggestions.
