Faith 'n Fiction Saturday

My Friend Amy, who brought us Book Blogger Appreciation Week has a new carnival in the works, the Faith 'n Fiction Saturday.

Each week she will post a blogging prompt, which participating bloggers will answer on their own blogs. Then they head back to the original post and sign Mister Linky! This way we can all come to know each other more closely.

Today's Topic
It doesn't take long hanging around people who read Christian fiction before the usual names come up. Janette Oke. Francine Rivers. Karen Kingsbury. Dee Henderson. Ted Dekker. Frank Peretti. These are the best-sellers...the authors everyone knows. But there are so many authors who get less coverage but have huge amounts of talent. Today, choose either an author you think deserves a wider readership or a book you wish more people had read and share about them on your blog! Because as you all know, we need to add to our TBR (to be read) lists!

My Answer:
Yeah this will take forever for me to list all the little known authors I think people should read. But for today I will focus on an author I got to meet in person last week: Tricia Goyer. Tricia writes in many different genres: historical fiction (WWII, Spanish Civil War - no not the Spanish American war, this one actually took place in Spain), contemporary fiction, children's books, YA non fiction, marriage books, and books for moms. Something for everyone! Her books have really excellent research and you can tell she's put her heart into her books. Plus she's super nice as I can confirm when I met her in DC last weekend! (i'll post a pic soon) You really need to read her books.

Check out her website for a list of all her books.

You're not the first to tell me Goyer is a good author. I'll have to check her out - thanks. :)

I have my answer up at Free Spirit, also-
