Faith 'n Fiction Saturday
My Friend Amy, who brought us Book Blogger Appreciation Week has a new carnival in the works, the Faith 'n Fiction Saturday.
Each week she will post a blogging prompt, which participating bloggers will answer on their own blogs. Then they head back to the original post and sign Mister Linky! This way we can all come to know each other more closely.
Today's Question: We're at the halfway point in the year and we've read a bunch of great books (hopefully) so far. Today I'm going to ask you to do something very difficult...and pick your favorite!
The book you choose should be fiction, should be published for the Christian marketplace, and must have been published in 2009. Please tell us why it's your favorite and who else might enjoy it. If you reviewed it, feel free to include a link to your review!
So halfway point of the year and I've read 148 books. My goal for the year overall was 200. Anywho, so if you've been reading this blog and these memes for a while you know that I can never pick just one so I'm going to go with favorite five so far.
In no particular order
Play It Again SAHM by Meredith Efken
Jane Austen Ruined My Life by Beth Pattillo
Boneman's Daughters by Ted Dekker
The Face by Angela Hunt
Love's Pursuit by Siri Mitchell
so 2 chick lit, a thriller, a suspense, and a historical. Will these books still be on the list at the end of the year? We'll have to find see...
ETA: Bollocks, so I should have read the rules first and I just realized that these were only books that were published in 2009 so THE FACE shouldn't be on the list but I really enjoyed it....
Yup!! BoneMan's Daughter's was on my list as well. mine
ReplyDeleteI should be receiving Boneman's Daughter in the mail any time now. I am excited to read it and happy to see that others are finding it an enjoyable read as well! :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading Boneman's Daughters. I really enjoyed the SAHM book too.
