BBAW
Thank you so much to everyone who nominated me for the shortlist for Best Spiritual /Inspirational/Religious Book Blog for BBAW this year! It is such an honor to be nominated and I am still in shock that people actually read my blog.
I'd like to also send out a shout out to the other blogs nominated in this category:
Edgy Inspirational Romance
The Parchment Girl
These two blogs are most excellent and I would be honored to lose to either one of them!
If this is your first time here, please read my About Me page to get to know me a little better. I've been blogging for 5 years now (well in 2 weeks) and I really enjoy what I've been doing. While the majority of the books I review do fall in the Christian publishing industry, I do read many general market books as well. I do have my share of issues with the Christian industry and have been vocal about it but there are still many books that I am truly in love with. Also I am one of the advisory board members of the INSPY awards, where bloggers choose books that are faith driven that are the best of the best for each year.
In terms of this category, these were the 5 posts I submitted:
Why I'm Not the Target Audience for Christian Fiction
Book Review: "City of Tranquil Light" by Bo Caldwell
Book Review: "America's Prophet" by Bruce Feiler
Book Review: "A Reluctant Queen" by Joan Wolf
Book Review: "From Here to Eternity" by Allison Pittman
There are tons of other categories to vote for as well so be sure to register and vote if you can!
