My Library Reads No. 3

My Library Reads is a spotlight on the library books that I have read during the previous week. This is not a post on what books I borrowed but books that I read. Since I don't review library books, this is a way to still be able to showcase them on my blog.

BTW, if anyone knows of another meme that is like this on another blog, could you please let me know? I don't know of any myself, but if there is one already in place, I'd like to give credit where credit is due!

Library Books read from 12/5/10 - 12/11/10

Sabotage by Kit Wilkinson (Steeple Hill, 2010)

Christian Fiction - Romantic Suspense: I thought this might be interesting because it took place in Virginia but it turned out to be kinda meh. Nothing too exciting really happened. Dealt with horse doping which was kinda interesting. Read for Fall Reading Challenge.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke (Kensington, 2001)

Cozy Mystery - First in the Hannah Swensen Mystery series. Loved this book! The characters were fun and engaging and the mystery was very well done. Loved all the cookie recipes sprinkled throughout the book. Definitely will be looking into reading more from this popular series. Read for fall reading challenge.

Death by Darjeeling by Laura Childs (Berkley Prime Crime, 2001)

Cozy Mystery - First in the Tea Shop Mystery series. I thought this book was going to be good because I like tea, I like cozy mysteries and I know this author is really popular. Unfortunately, I was pretty bored throughout the entire book. Even the tea talk wasn't very fun. I don't think I'll be reading any more books in this series but I might give the author's other books to give her a second chance. Read for fall reading challenge.

Audiobooks:

Adventures in Odyssey: Into the Light (Tyndale, 2007)

Adventures in Odyssey: Odditions (Tyndale, 2006)

  2. That Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder sounds like fun, but then again, I ain't a huge fan of Christian fiction. But I have read Christian books.
