I love this era of history and I like how this book would offer a different view of events happening in Germany.Kristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06740407235304163454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33053817.post-64820401393810296602010-03-25T11:27:19.532-04:002010-03-25T11:27:19.532-04:00I enjoyed this book, too. Even though the book description says she is 21, I'm sure it was stated in the novel that she had just graduated from high school. I definitely thought of her as much younger than 21. This was the first book by Goyer that I've read. I was impressed by the amount of research she so obviously did. And I agree, the USO troupe was a refreshingly new angle on WWII. I didn't think to menation it in my review, which you can read here.Gwendolyn B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03306180985189176946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33053817.post-76731483832900893342010-03-25T11:14:30.387-04:002010-03-25T11:14:30.387-04:00I really appreciate that you share your honest tho...I really appreciate that you share your honest thoughts about a book. I saw this pop up in the tour yesterday on another site and your review helps me balance it out. I think that I really WOULD like this book and enjoy it very much. The great thing about tours is that you can gather so many different perspectives which is helpful when deciding whether or not to pick up a new title.

Thanks!Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08772667430500306088noreply@blogger.com
